Self/Other Fusion #
This technique supersedes sahasrara for practitioners ready to leverage THH and vaporized N,N-DMT.
The problem: subject and object #
Our experience can often be divided into a subject and object. It is obvious that there are many objects to focus on, but what is less obvious is that the origin of the subject can also move. Close your eyes and touch something. Your hand can be the origin. The soles of your feet too. This is not an exhaustive list; there are others.
This subject/object, self/other divide defines individuality. To transcend individuality, we can set up two overlapping frames with opposite self/other divisions and blur them together.
The method #
Assume the sahasrara hand position: right (or left) hand held above the head. This posture gives you two frames with opposite self/other assignments, viewed from the same body:
- Origin at the head (customary), observing the hand as object
- Origin at the hand, observing the head as object
Neither frame is more correct than the other. Alternate between them until both are equally available, then blur them together.
THH: locating the intersection #
Take 5-30mg of THH beforehand. THH lights up the intersection point between the two frames, the place where head-frame and hand-frame overlap.
DMT: concentrating attention #
N,N-DMT helps concentrate attention near the intersection point, deepening the blur and making the collapse of self/other more complete. You only need enough to loosen things up, not so much that you start having visions or lose awareness of consensus reality.
Notes #
Fine to combine with withdrawal of the senses and foot soaking.
